These are computer-based charts and files that keep an electronic dental record of your child’s teeth and oral health. The purpose of using electronic records is to enable dentists to record and process data on their patients. The records document procedures and other types of clinical information. Any paperwork we have you complete in the office is scanned into our digital record. All dental radiographs and notes are also kept within the digital record . They also include diagnosis information and may include any information the pediatric dentist needs to take excellent care of their young patients. Digital records give us the ability to safely share your child’s health records with other dental & healthcare specialist in a HIPAA secure manner. We also offer a patient portal where you can have access to your child’s information.
